Morris Gleitzman is an internationally bestselling Australian children’s author and was the Australian Children's Laureate for 2018 and 2019. His books explore serious and sometimes confronting subjects in humourous and unexpected ways. His titles include Two Weeks With The Queen, Grace, Doubting Thomas, Bumface, Give Peas a Chance, Extra Time, Loyal Creatures, Tweet and the series Once, Then, After, Soon, Maybe, Now and Always. Morris lives in Sydney and Brisbane, and his books are published in more than 20 countries.

Paul Jennings has written more than 100 stories and has been voted favourite author over 40 times by children in Australia, winning every children's choice award. The top-rating television series Round the Twist and Driven Crazy are based on a selection of his enormously popular short-story collections. In 1995 Jennings was made a Member of the Order of Australia for services to children's literature and was awarded the prestigious Dromkeen Medal in 2001. Francis Greenslade began performing with Adelaide University Footlights and has since worked extensively in theatre and television. Theatre companies he has worked for include Melbourne Theatre Company, Sydney Theatre Company, State Theatre Company and Playbox. Francis is best known for his television appearances in The Micallef Programme, Full Frontal and Pig's Breakfast.

Melissa Eccleston has appeared in various theatre productions in Australia and Ireland. Television appearances include SeaChange, Blue Heelers and The Bill. Her film credits include Dead Letter Office and several short films in Melbourne and Dublin and voiceovers for television and radio. Melissa is a writer, singer and Celtic storyteller.
