Alexandra Campbell’s life comes to a crashing halt the night her younger sister is killed during a convenience store robbery. Shattered by guilt, Alex distances herself from her friends and family.

Months later, with the police investigation stalled, she fears justice may never be served. Determined to avenge her sister’s murder, Alex disguises herself and joins the gang responsible for the shooting. To identify the one who pulled the trigger, she must put her own life at risk in a world of dangerous criminals. But the longer she plays her new game, the more the lines blur between loyalty and betrayal.

Apie autorių

Cheryl Guerriero was born and raised in New Jersey by two dysfunctional loving parents and an older sister who once threw a pair of scissors at her head. Thankfully, her sister missed. Guerriero, an athlete since birth, went on to college where she became a National Lacrosse Champion. Upon graduating, her mother insisted she get a job at Prudential Life Insurance company and get married. Guerriero promptly moved to NYC and came out as a writer and a lesbian.

A multi-award-winning narrator, Katie Koster got her BA in theater and math from Boston College. After college, she returned to her native New York, where she developed her theatrical career and dry sense of humor by starring in The Sedarises' The Book of Liz and doing improv comedy with puppets. She lends her humor, intellect, and character variety to her narration, along with her empathy and acclaimed emotional range.
