This book contains two titles:
Title 1: Do gifted children have behavioral problems? Do they adapt? Are they perfectionists?
The answer to these three questions is a resounding “yes.” However, this also raises questions that need to be answered about how to parent them, how to handle outbursts and emotional moments, etc.
Most gifted children are intelligent because their senses are sharp and intense, and this can result in strong feelings of self-reflection and dramas over nothing. Sometimes, they may say that things that are easy, are actually hard, or they are unwilling to push through with certain things. So, how do you deal with that?

For example, many gifted children can be bossy or act as if they are adults, with their wits and words, while still showing immature behavior of a 4-year-old, or whatever their age is. Along with the topics mentioned above, this book also touches on the correlation between early birth and intelligence, the depressive thoughts some gifted children have, the meaning of IQ tests in these analyses, and the question about whether your child should skip a grade or not.
