Rural Pennsylvania's Vance Township Police Chief Pete Adams is down an officer and has been dealing with extra shifts as well as a pair of bickering neighbors, one of whom owns a machete and isn't afraid to use it. Annette Dashofy was born and raised on a Pennsylvania farm. As a child, she always enjoyed reading and writing when she wasn't playing in the barn. As a young adult, she spent five years as an EMT on the local ambulance service. She soon found her love for writing mysteries. Her Zoe Chambers mystery sereis includes Circle of Influence, Lost Legacy, Bridges Burned, With a Vengeance and No Way Home. She has been nominated for the Agatha Award for Best First Novel and Best Contemporary Novel.
Romy Nordlinger is a New York City-based actress whose TV credits include roles on Law & Order, All My Children, and One Life to Live. As an audiobook narrator, she has lent her talents to over two hundred titles ranging in genres from romance and self-help to sci-fi and mystery.
