With a stolen map clutched in their paws, Magnus, Daisy, Ed and Spot are searching for hidden treasure on the great sea. But with other fearsome pirates closing in around them, can these scally-waggers come out top dogs?

作者简介

Jack Henseleit is a pirate children’s author from Ballarat, Australia. He likes reading, writing, and sailing the seven seas playing board games, and has two very fearsome friendly cats named Teddy and Tippi. Before Cross Bones he wrote The Witching Hours, a series of spooky fairy tales for older readers.

Chris Kennett has been drawing ever since he could hold a pencil (or so his mum says). But professionally, he’s has been creating quirky characters for more than 20 years. Working his way from animation through to children's books, Chris has managed to work on some truly 'out of this world' projects including the beloved Star Wars series of Little Golden Books. Chris's most recent projects include the hugely popular first-reader series School of Monsters with Sally Rippin, the Nerd Herd series with Nathan Luff and Cross Bones with Jack Henseleit.

After graduating from Actors Centre Australia in 2018, Dominic Gruenewald quickly forged a prosperous career in Sydney's Shakespearean scene, playing Iago with 63 Globes (2019) and Orsino/Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Bar'd Work's sell out season of The Shakesbeer Sessions: Twelfth Night (2019). Other highlights include appearing in Immersive Cinema's Dirty Dancing, and Underground Cinema's FBI. Dominic also starred in Norbury Productions' After Oscar (2021), as the titular Oscar Wilde, as well as multiple tours with Complete Works Theatre Company.
