I like it that way, especially given my penchant for going up against some of the worst of the worst as part of my government hacking work. I’ve never wanted soft, not until I met June. She’s my opposite, everything I’ve avoided, everything I thought I didn’t want. I was so, so wrong.

Her smart mouth and sweet demeanor, the way she gets under my skin and sends heat swirling through my veins—she’s more than I deserve, but I’m a man who always gets what I want. When she runs from me, I’ll chase her down and make her mine. Forever.
