Ellie Rose Bakes a Cake

The authors, Carol Jarvis and Jeanne Flosi, enjoy reading to children and through their experiences as teachers, mothers and grandmothers, have learned first hand what children love. They also recognize the importance of excellent illustrations and are very pleased to have Christine Croasdale’s artwork help bring Ellie Rose to life. Ellie Rose was “born” after a discussion of how to tell a delightful tale while teaching a valuable lesson. Carol and Jeanne believe that a bit of nonsense and whimsy, written in rhyme, is the way to every child’s heart.
