Prophecies don't pay the bills . . .
Trev has accepted the truth of Cassie's vision of him becoming a great hero meant to save the Earth and stop the machinations of the dangerous corporation 46P1. While Trev, Jack, and Cassie are a good team, they've got a long way to go before they're ready to take on the most powerful company left in the broken world.
But dead or alive bounties can make life less complicated . . .
Enjoying the satisfaction that comes with taking down bandits and villains, the team settle on bounty-hunting work as they transition from ragtag racing crew to hero team. They figure they have an easy job when the nearby mining town of New Hope puts out a call for help.
Being a hero in a fallen world means risking betrayal.
There's more going on in New Hope than Trev and his friends expect. They must deal with monsters, out-of-control mercenaries, and a deadly bandit secret that forces Trev to realize that being the toughest in a fight may not guarantee he can save lives.
Will Trev and his team discover the bandits' secret before it's too late for all the innocent people they've sworn to save?
