Angela Johnson is the prolific and award-winning author of Toning the Sweep, which was a Coretta Scott King Award winner, a School Library Journal Best Book, and a Booklist Editor's Choice. Her first novel, Heaven, was also a recipient of the Coretta Scott King Award.
