Anthony is an ambulance man in Andover. He attends Alice when she chokes on some apple and has an asthma attack. When he arrives, Alice has almost recovered but is still distressed, so Anthony takes her on an adventure in his ambulance to cheer her up.

Muallif haqida

Gloria, now retired, was a scientist and then a qualified social worker and manager. She has three grown-up children and five grandchildren. She loved to make up stories for her own children when they were small and now has her youngest grandchild to test out her current stories on. She originally wrote this phonics-focused series of short stories for her sister to use with the small children and their parents who attend her phonics classes. Gloria also enjoys reading, art, and craft.
