After the death of his beloved father, Arthur and a group of other young evacuees are sent far away to Canada for their own safety on the eve of the Second World War. Alone and afraid, with no family to protect him, Arthur faces an unknown future.
But even on the other side of the world he canât escape the war. Faced with more upheaval, Arthur begins to doubt he will ever find his forever family. With so much heartache and turmoil, can he hold on to his dream of love and happiness?
