Aunt K owns a farm where alpacas and a menagerie of other animals live. Three yorkies—Jingle, Jaywok, and Joi Daisy—visit the farm and learn about the different animals including some of the history of these great animals. The yorkies become good friends with June and Josie, a couple of young alpacas. Jingle, Jaywok, and Joi Daisy also meet Betty, the sled dog, a world class athlete who competed in the Iditarod. The farm is home to many more animals, and the yorkie pups think it’s great fun to learn about creatures from different parts of the world. This picture book for children shares the message that you can be friends no matter what color, size, and background you come from.
作者简介
Jack Rotifer is the joint pen name of Dr. Karen M. Rodeffer-Evans, an OB-GYN physician, and Dr. Judy A. C. King, a pathologist. Evans has a large farm with alpacas and other animals, and King is mom to three yorkies.
