Imagine Lewis Carroll’s blonde heroine Alice Liddell, transplanted from her Victorian milieu to our rather more complicated era. She’s the spoiled daughter of a minor Hollywood starlet too self-involved to give her child the guidance she needs. At eighteen, having misbehaved too badly to graduate high school, she’s dumped with her handsome but stern step-uncle. Later, Alice is enrolled in a strict convent-based women’s college, where the salacious nuns carry on the same disciplinary philosophy, with additional sexual attentions she finds addictive. However, when at 22 and finally on her own, Alice’s impulsive ways return, and with her life a wreck, she’s rescued by her uncle and his new bride, becoming subjected their total immersion disciplinary treatment.
