Adrian Tanase was first introduced to Buddhism, way back, in 2001, while he was visiting the beautiful City of Vancouver, Canada when he came in contact with the vibrant Buddhist community that practices there. He started attending the Open House days. It was there when he was first introduced to the technique of Shamatha's "calm-abiding" meditation practice, also known as formal breathing meditation. After 18 years of continuous practice, which always had its ups and downs, a realization of the beautiful and unsurpassed clarity of the mind of no thought, in a meditative experience, has made him want to share his knowledge, insights, and practice with the world, and this is how this book came into form. "Mindfulness in Your Everyday Life" is the 1st book in a long series of spiritual books entitled "The Golden Path" that he's planning to write, guiding through them other people that are interested in pursuing a spiritual path or just wanting to live a simple and fulfilled life, teaching through this book about the theoretical and also the practical aspect of living mindfully. In all these years of his practice, he has been profoundly influenced by spiritual teachers worldwide, such as Pema Chodron, Eckhart Tolle, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, Wayne Dyer, James Van Praagh, Deborah King, John Holland, Louise Hay, Lisa Garr, Doreen Virtue, Sandra Ann Taylor, Esther and Jerry Hicks, Matt Kahn, Davidji, Denise Linn, and many many others.
