This is a beautifully written cookbook that focuses on nutrients that support brain health. I loved all the mouthwatering color photos of the recipes. I would have liked to see more nightshade vegetables included, since they are rich in nutrients that support Alpha-7 Nicotinic Receptors, which are known to boost brain function. Overall, I enjoyed the recipes and appreciated the detailed nutritional information.

This book explores the benefits of exercise in mitigating the effects of Parkinson's Disease. It not only draws evidence and advice from world-renowned doctors who treat Parkinson's, but relates the author's personal experiences with Parkinson's patients in a variety of exercise programs. It's a must-read for all those who are suffering from the debilitating effects of this disease, but also those who are related to or caregiving for those afflicted.
