Alan Hlad, who also writes as A.L. Hlad, is the internationally bestselling author of historical fiction novels inspired by real people and events of WWI and WWII, including The Book Spy, Churchill's Secret Messenger, A Light Beyond the Trenches and the USA Today and IndieBound bestseller The Long Flight Home. Daphne Kouma is a London-based actress who performs across theatre, television and film in her native Greek, French and English. She has narrated over 100 audiobook titles for multiple publishers including Elif Shafak’s The Island of Missing Trees, Charlotte Higgins's The Greek Myths and The Raven Scholar by Antonia Hodgson. Kouma’s performance in Lucy Foley’s The Paris Apartment was Audie Nominated for Best Narrator and won AudioFile’s Best Narrators award.
