Twenty years and more than thirty books later, she’s still creating stories that touch hearts and lives. Her novels have won the RITA Award, the Carol Award, the HOLT Medallion, National Readers’ Choice Award, and have three times been Christy Award finalists. She and husband, Ken Raney, traded small-town life in Kansas for life in the city of Wichita. They love traveling to visit four grown children and a growing brood of grandchildren who all live much too far away.
Julie Lancelot lives in a cabin with her wonderful husband of twenty-three years, three feisty teenagers, and a lazy beagle. She was a tax auditor for nine years before spending twelve years as a stay-at-home mom. Most recently, she has been a substitute teacher for special education classes, and now enjoys narrating audiobooks.
