Barbara Hannay, a former high-school English teacher, has written more than 40 books since her first publication in 1999. With more than 12 million copies sold worldwide, her novels have been translated into 26 languages, and have earned her five RITA nominations from Romance Writers of America. Hannay won a RITA award in 2007 and has won two Australian Romantic Book of the Year awards. Hannay lives in Townsville with her writer husband and enjoys being close to the Coral Sea, the stunning tropical scenery and colourful characters, all of which find their way into her popular stories.
Luisa Scrofani is an Italian-Australian actor and singer who’s based in Melbourne. She made her professional debut at 19 in Violet and has gone on to successfully perform in a string of independent and main-stage productions including Spring Awakening, Fugitive Songs, Blackrock, Midnight and A Funny Thing Happened on The Way to the Forum. She was nominated for a 2019 Helpmann Award for her performance as Nina Rosario in In the Heights.
