Heaven’s war has come to earth ... Broken and confused, sixteen-year-old Izzy’s world is falling apart. Though people remind her of her responsibilities as a Grigori – keeping the balance between humans and fae, angels and demons – there are such gaps in her memory ... All she knows for sure is that Jinx, the fae warrior she loved, is dead. But now the crows are gathering on black wings and Izzy knows that a darkness is coming ... She and her friends must stand against it, even though heaven, hell, the armies of the Sídhe and mankind all stand against them. How far will Izzy go to turn back the tide?

O autorovi

Ruth Frances Long writes fantasy such as The Treachery of Beautiful Things (Dial, 2012) and The Dubh Linn trilogy set in the world of demons, angels and fairies that exists alongside our own in modern day Dublin (A Crack in Everything (O’Brien, 2014), A Hollow in the Hills (O’Brien, 2015) and A Darkness at the End (O’Brien, 2016). In 2015 she was the winner of The European Science Fiction Society Spirit of Dedication Award For Best Author of Children’s Science Fiction and Fantasy for A Crack in Everything. As Jessica Thorne she writes fantasy romance – The Queen’s Wing (Bookouture, 2018) and The Stone’s Heart (Bookouture, 2019), which was shortlisted for the RNA Fantasy Romantic Novel of the Year Award in 2020, and the Hollow King Duology Mageborn (2020) and Nightborn (2020). She likes to wander between genres, but always with a fantasy twist. Her recent books The Lost Girls of Foxfield Hall (2021), The Bookbinder’s Daughter (2021) and The Water Witch (2022) blend magic, time travel and women’s fiction. Recently she has been working alongside the music festival Tomorrowland, and her first book with them The Rise of Adscendo feautres the origin story of its 2023 festival theme. As R. F. Long she writes fantasy & paranormal romance such as The Scroll Thief, Soul Fire and the Holtlands stories (The Wolf’s Sister, the Wolf’s Mate and Songs of the Wolf) which were originally published with Samhain publishing and which she recently re-released along with the full-length, final part of the series The Wolf’s Destiny. She lives in Ireland and works in a library of rare, unusual & occasionally crazy books. But they don’t talk to her that often.

Heather O'Sullivan is an actor and writer from Dublin. She graduated from Mountview Academy in 2021 and has performed at home and internationally at The Irish Repertory Theatre NYC, the La Jolla Playhouse, and the Edinburgh Fringe.
