You can't log more than 1 mile a day on free plan, but also you can't buy premium because they have some problems with that. So, the app is completely useless. EDIT: The payment works now, you can even make a one-time purchase of unlimited distance per day logging without the need to buy a subscription. It can pull data from health connect which is nice. Sign-in via Google or Fb would be nice, now you have to create a proprietary account.

Hi. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. The payment issue has now been resolved. We did our absolute best to fix it as quickly as possible, but unfortunately, some aspects were beyond our control. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding. Happy hiking! / Best Regards, The Fantasy Hike Team

There's a maximum distance you can walk in the app per day, in other words, it only counts up to a certain number of km or miles in a day. Unless, of course, you pay, and in my opinion it's not cheap for that basic feature. I did end up buying it and have been happy with this app, although I'd still hope it was a bit cheaper but it's a one time deal so it balances out.

Hello Tiago Homem, The trial version is meant so people can determine if the app is something they would like. We keep one time purchsae of Unlimited distance to keep the app ad-free and are sorry to hear that does not work for you. Happy hiking, The Fantasy Hike team.

Cute and fun little app, the virtual challengers need so rebalancing 3 of them move at the same ridiculously slow pace and the fourth moves at supernatural speeds (sometimes moving 50 miles a day) then stops entirely for a month. it really makes them meaningless. All in all, it's probably worth the $6 one time payment to use it fully, it would be definitely worth it if other 'unexpected journeys' were added as well....
