Reducing this to one star. The Ai isn't even pretending anymore. This keyboard's AI now is both crazy aggressive about implementing bad changes and refusing to make logical ones. it turns my typing, whether accurate or bad at the moment, into gibberish. It adds letters to words and then words to phrases without regard to context. Rarely do I type anything that doesn't require editing afterwards.... Microsoft tried a fix, which worked for awhile, but it again is as bad as it was before the fix.

Hi Mike, we apologize for the inconvenience. We've removed the AI integration with recent updates. To streamline your experience, please delete the current language and reinstall it. Next, resync by toggling the Backup and Sync option on and off and clear the app cache in settings. Alongside, we'll pass this to our developers for review. Thank you!

Now includes anti-features: The context menu includes the option "search the web". This opens the browser searching for the selected text with the default search engine like Google/Duckduckgo, which are great search engines. However, when you try that from within said search engine, the option is replaced by "ask Bing", the search engine people use to install chrome. Quite a cheap tactic to promote an unsuccessful product. Please fix this, because it really is great otherwise, unlike Bing.

I'm a sys admin and I like SwiftKey a lot. It saved me at a time when there were few good keyboards. It's probably no longer exceptional but it's now the old dependable. It's an easy 5 star and I recommend it to everyone. Now the AI slop generator can be switched off I have amended my review as promised. I will never ever ever ever ever use AI functionality and I don't want to encounter it. AI has no upsides, only downsides. You too can, and SHOULD, disable Copilot in Settings - Rich input.
