Black Desert Mobile

Very impressed. I started yesterday and I'm so happy with it. It doesn't chow battery life, despite the high graphics. I don't even have it on the highest quality, but it still looks great. I wish the Progression Characters could be explained a bit better, and that we had better customisation for controls, though. I'm really happy with the gameplay, the story is interesting and the in-depth customisation is satisfying.

As soon as you log in for the first time you are bombarded with waaaaay too much information, notifications, and just....everything. Like so many other mobiles based on MMOs this one throws everything at you all at once and expects you to have the time or patience to decipher it all. I want to play a game, not do a week of research just to know how to play. Stagger stuff out ffs! People tend to lose interest when their first introduction to the game is numerous walls of text with no preamble.

Just like the PC client, overwhelming at first. The game is rich in features and the content delivery pace is a bit faster than you'd expect from other Android games. However, dedicating to BDM is a definite payoff as you can easily hop back into the game to check out it's many frequent updates. I'd say the graphic fidelity is amongst the best I've experienced, the combat is very intuitive and responsiveness feels great. Quests become repetitive but there's plenty to do. Gear system is 5☆.
