Sept. 2019. "Opera mini" used to be great to minimise data - Not any more. It now racks up mobile data (in the gb's) + connections over Wifi (seemingly) perform poorly. // However - One major drawback when it comes down to usability - Scrolling either by hand, or touchscreen pen, doesn't work smoothly, at all. In Chrome or in Firefox and on the same screen, on the same website, this isn't a problem. There is room for a (big) improvement there. When updated, this makes for a powerful browser.

Small, fast and easy. Adblocking works great, would be nice if it was customizable. Handles tabs so much better than Firefox. Speed dial is much easier than bookmarks and the worst option is nice. But... a dedicated football section? That one is beyond me. But it can be switched off so that's fine! All in all the speed and minimalism are the winners here.

Opera advertises ad blocking, and it does block ads on pages, but at the same time it shoves loads of own ads when you're switching between the pages, following links, etc. Extremely annoying. It has "personalized ads" function that you disable yet still receive loads of ads. I am afraid to click on links now not knowing if I will get an ad across the whole screen again. Disappointed.
