I updated to get the map updates. Sadly, this update F'd the way advertisement works as well. It used to be that you clicked, watched an ad, get bucks. Feeling very natural since your trains were riding anyway. Now you click and get a Menu!!! to watch ads. Some free coins and 4 ads (bucks, coins, crate, bucks). With a long while before you can use it again. This menu thing feels so wrong whilst playing that it kills part of the fun this game gives. Please restore the old system.

One of the best casual games I've played The art style is just really pleasing to look at and while the gameplay is a bit grindy, it is really fun to play for a few minutes when your trains have arrived after travelling for 4 hours. The controls are really simplistic and everything is where it is supposed to be. Overall it's definitely a game I would recommend for people who just quickly want to play something while they're waiting.

My last review was in 2014, and I feel compelled to amend it. In a world where apps grow bigger and are constantly enhancing and upgrading, PT remains the same, and I love that about it. If you play this game, you play it to run a train network, not go crazy with gimmicks and wild mechanics. It's simple, it has not changed, and as the years go by, I respect the beauty of it. Log on, run a train network, and just vibe. 10/10, no notes. Well, the X axis could get labelled, but that's it.
