My phone has a software bug that now halves media volume. Tried this. It works. Makes the sound sound horrible and also increases volume for non-media stuff (calls, alarms). No way to separate. Makes this app unusable for me. But when you have a dying speaker and have a few days before your new phone arrives. This is highly recommended as a way to get those last minutes out of your speaker before it totally dies (will make it happen sooner, but who cares at that point).

This app is awesome. I was expecting it not to work and be loaded with ads. Well my thinking was wrong! It does what it's supposed to and you can make the sound higher or lower by adjusting the dial. If you turn your phone off or have not playedmusic in a while it will cut off. That's awesome too to save battery. Also it does not burn your battery up! I recommend this to anyone and everyone. Please don't ever change anything about this app! 5 stars!!!!! <3

The app is easy to use. At max, you get a lot of distortion, so you won't want to go over 150-175%. Biggest downside to this app is it's battery intensive. I have to keep the app open, instead of it sitting in the notification bar like my music player does. Because of that, my battery goes from 99% at the start of the shift, to 36% 2 1/2 hours in, and I work 8-12 hour shifts. That's really my only issue though. I'm on an S9 that's3 years old, but never had battery problems til this app.
