I love this game. It's simple, but not easy. As you make achievements and unlock more powers the game gains in interest and there are so many ways to equip your hoplite and strategies you can employ. I bought this game years ago for $3 and it was well worth it. It's difficult enough I still haven't unlocked all the skills/powers but I'm working on it. I occasionally have to uninstall the game because I find it so addictive. If you like strategy, you'll love this game.

Great game! It's a game of tactical strategy and wits without stupid time constraints (which I hate specifically), luck-factor and whatnot. If there's ANY game I'd gladly pay for then it's this one. However, after level 17 or so it quickly becomes so exceptionally difficult (only because I'm a tactical dimwit) that, for me, it becomes just too difficult. And I don't like difficulties in my life ^_^

Unlike anything I have played. The game is a mix of chess and RPG, which is somewhat confusion to pick up, but really satisfying to get the hang off. After 1-2 hours you have seen all that the game has to offer, but due to high replay value, it is still manageble after. Note: I haven't bought premium, so there might be more content after level 16
