Fantastic resource for beginners, like myself, in art, but offers a lot for students and experienced art lovers. Unfortunately, after paying for the app, it no longer works. I am greeted by the message "There is a network problem. Please, retry." I have reinstalled and reset to no avail. Otherwise, it woul have been worthwhile buying the app as a one off purchase, as it blends history and geography with art, but the technical issues render it unusable.

This application is fantastic! My friend and I started a two person art history club. We study a theme every month and conclude with a visit of the relevant collection at the Met. This application allows me to organize my research, illustrates it with exemples and broaden it thanks to the links. I use it in both French and English. Excellent work on which I base mine! Thank you. Highly recommend.

Very mixed opinions, the main issue is that you have to pay a fee of £6 to actually use most of the app (though it wont lock individual artworks), it's pretty good for finding new art, and I would probably be willing to pay if it actually had more art on it. It only really has like the 500 most popular artists, and alot of the info is just plucked straight from Wikipedia. I'd recommend it, but there's still alot of great artists it doesn't include.
