What a fun and engaging learning app! Actually being able to have conversations in Japanese is helping me finally hit that next step in retention and thinking natively in the language. I've seen other reviews mention the paywall. I knew kana going in so I hit the moment fast. But I had so much fun that I signed up for the 7 day trial and from there subscribed. Great products aren't free to make. And this is a great product. The price is easily worth the admission. Give it a try!!!

had to change my review. you can't even play full chapters without paying. this is horrible because I already struggle with practicing, and with being forced to skip so much, it makes it virtually impossible for me to ACTUALLY LEARN anything at all. I understand you need money, but there's other ways of doing that rather than blocking or hurting a users learning experience. the way you teach Japanese is fun, yes, but it skips over so many basics so it's frustrating for me to do anything at all.

its really good as someone that has difficulty with pronunciation but in my experience with the app, i dont think its just my device issue, it lacks optimization and its really slow even with a fast internet and low ram usage on my phone. the tts is very slow and everytime i use it, it just makes all the lessons more than 40 minutes long because of how often i retry because it doesnt understand the words i said or it just glitches off. hope this issue will be fixed.
