About this game

Indie Wrestler is a tap based text mobile game; made by wrestling fans for wrestling fans. The idea behind it is pretty simple – we wanted to give you the opportunity to create a character and take them to the top of the wrestling world.

How do you do that? By getting yourself over. Have great matches, cut promos and win titles. You get to train your wrestler, work for different promotions, upgrade your gear and even react to online gossip, rumours and innuendo. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. It’s truly a unique game that hasn’t been developed for the wrestling scene before.

The ultimate goal of the game is to make it to the biggest promotion in the game and become their world champion. And then test your long term drawing power out to see how long you can stay on top for.

The game looks good, and plays very smoothly. Haven't had any problems with it. Some mini games are challenging but that just keeps you sharp. I'm lvl 20 now and keep on going. Maybe a little more diversity in the mini games, but I'm sure thats a thing that will be taken care off. All with all an A+ game!

Started out well, but major glitches, paid for some car miles as the tutorial didn't work I didn't know I needed them, and I didn't want to watch 7 more adverts to get the in game cash to buy more. Got into a match only to find it crashes every time half way through a match. I feel cheated out of the money I spent but I think there's a lot of potential with the game. What a shame.

While fun and interesting, it's riddled with ads and progress blockers such as requiring you to buy contracts to negotiate dates. Even if I have 2 dates available, I need a minimum of 5 to actually get a contract or at least negotiate a bit more. For me, this kills the game for me as I'm going to run out of contracts, then miles, then money and the only way out would be to farm from interactions for stuff or spend real money, which is a general no no for me.

The game is balanced in a way that means that you shouldn't run out of contracts or miles. Don't forget that you get paid for each show and the boosts store refreshes every year and shows you what you can get with your in-game currency. The game has been tested to complete without needing to spend real money at all.
