I'm gonna give this game a 2 star for the moment. The presentation and mechanics are solid. But the negatives are weighing down the experience. "Freemium" games are at least winnable without spending money but not here. I'm stuck on level 7 because the second boss wave is so comedically overpowered they just steamroll my units. Which makes the game a stat check simulator. And the only way to get stats is to either grind extremely slowly or pay for stats. That's no good.

Cute TD game.. Not too many ads, but the ones they have often cause the game to freeze, and you miss out on the rewards, which is super frustrating as most of the ads are 60s long.. $10 is way too expensive for ad-free. Please also make it so when you equip a new weapon, it retains the level.. Make it so you level up the slot, not the specific gear.. That's a common enough QoL improvement, it should be in here.

I like the units and grid but the only thing I don't like is that if you shut off your phone or close the app, your progress on that stage clears and you have to restart and lose that energy you've used and any other resources you could've gotten when finished. A few other apps I know have this mechanic and it's very useful even though it's small.

- Daily and Weekly Rewards Fixed: Claiming two daily or weekly rewards too fast no longer eats one. Turns out, speed was a problem.
- Season Pass EXP bug fixed: Missions now properly feed your addiction—uh, progress.
- Tweaked early level difficulty. New players might now actually survive. You’re welcome.
