I've used this app for a long time and seen both good and bad changes. While I understand the need for ads, locking previously free features behind a paywall is frustrating. Removing the item-scanning feature makes calorie tracking less accurate and time-consuming, forcing me to find an alternative. Monetization is necessary, but restricting essential tools impacts usability. I hope the developers reconsider these changes to maintain accessibility for all users.

App is consistently getting worse, even for my paid subscription. Now the app is completely shutting down every time I go to add food- which is it's main purpose! Before today I was able to log if I clicked their reminders, which will while inconvenient worked usually, but now even that doesn't work. Don't waste your money (or your time on the free version- so many ads you can't do anything).

This app is mostly good for tracking calories. I like how big the food data base is, the ease of adding personal recipes and the overall app layout. I do wish the baroda scanner wasn't behind a pay wall and I'm currently running into an issue of having to re log in every time I go to enter in a new meal.

If you've been a MyFitnessPal member for a while, you probably have our food logging reminders memorized. Same-old reminders lose their motivational effect over time, so we've revamped them: Now they're more fun to read and much more likely to keep you on track day to day. If you don't have reminders turned on, turn them on in your settings menu. Happy logging!
