The app is extremely well designed, both in terms of searching for sheet music and recordings on IMSLP, as well as for viewing scores and listening to recordings that you have already downloaded. PDF annotation works well, allowing you add musical symbols or custom drawings and handwritten text with your finger or stylus, or add text boxes that you can type in with the on-screen keyboard. All annotations are erasable, and typed text can be edited after it has been saved to the score. The app manages to strike the right balance between free content and content that requires a subscription, and the subscription itself is priced very reasonably. For the record, everything that is free on the IMSLP website is free in the app, and if you do opt to take the subscription it is valid for both the app and the website. If you already have a subscription to the website then that is also valid in the app. Overall the app has a premium feel that is not at all compromised in the free version. It is a far more convenient way to access IMSLP than using a web browser on a mobile device, or transferring scores from a PC via Dropbox or similar as I was doing before this app existed.

I love this app, as a musician, have been using it for the last couple of years. I've been creating my own library with my own annotations for a while now. One thing I would like to see implemented is the ability to export the pdf's with the annotations made in-app. Is it possible? I'm using it on Android and I can only export the scores with no annotations. Thanks!

I would give this a 5 star review but I am a phone user and the app isn't really that great for phones. I would love to have an option to have 1 or 2 systems displayed since having the entire page makes it difficult to read. You can zoom in but page turning becomes very time consumung. It's not impossible to use but it is a very big hassle. Would love to have this implemented but I understand the limitations.
