They cannot be trusted. I found some really nice tours trough their website, but their commission is insane! It is best to book the actual guides/operators directly. Once, I even paid a premium of 50USD in order to be able to jave the option of a refund in case of a cancellation; they never paid back the full refund and totally scammed me. Their customer support line just says sorry, and ignores you. I will never use their service again. Tripadvisor offers so many better options, better prices

We were slightly late (15 mins) to pick up walking audio equipment for our tour of the Forum and Colluseum. I was told the only option was a walking guided tour 45 mins later at an extra 45 euros. the American family turned up 40 mins late but that was fine we had to wait for them. when I asked for a refund of the 45 euros because we were not given an option and told we were late, they refuse to answer emails. very poor service. would never use them again.

I made a genuine error booking two experiences of the same type at the same time (it can be confusing when so many options are given for the same thing). I only discovered this when downloading the voucher less than 24 hours before the activities began. GYG were just not interested in helping me out or getting a refund or even refunding the portion of the price that went to them and not the local operator. "Terms and conditions" trumped trying to help a customer. Not impressed.
