While I love having access to Nintendo music straight from the source, I have several problems with this app: 1) No Android Auto support, man I was looking forward to playing Mario Kart & F-Zero music while driving, but you can't; 2) Musicians/composers are not credited with the songs; 3) The dripfeed of music is baffling - games with licenses taking longer to get here makes sense, but Nintendo originals? What's the hold-up? Great potential, but it needs a lot more work.

[Updated 2025-05-28] Wow... Nintendo actually addressed both of my two areas of improvements from my original review. 5 and 10 minutes extension options added and now the option is sticky. Great Job! The app is simple but enjoyable way to listen game tracks. Decent selection of tracks that keeps growing and great sound quality. Areas of improvement: 1) Add casting option.

It's a cute music app and the amount of music keeps growing. From old favorites to somewhat newer games. I love the one hour for a song option and versions of the sound that I don't see often in a collection, like in super mario bros 3 soundtrack, they included the normal level music, a star version and a 'time is almost up music'. I get the feeling that they are slowly improving the app. Though I wish it has the option to cast, but I will use my headphone or bluetooth speaker for now
What’s new
・ A sleep-timer feature has been added. With it, you can set the time you want playback to stop. It's suited to listening to music before going to sleep.
・ The following updates have been made to the Extend to... feature for more convenient use:
・ Extend to... settings will now apply to entire playlists.
・ It is now possible to set durations of five or 10 minutes.
・ We have addressed some issues to provide a better user experience.
