Missing functionality from the previous app (like in-app messenging and favouriting excursions). I wish the excursions descriptions would have text formatting (like paragraph breaks)...it's too hard to read everything in one block. The check in process in the app was simple and easy. Onboard the app is very useful for checking your onboard account, viewing deck plans and booking dining/excursions.

Worst app of the seas. previous app had messaging critical for 2 or more travelers. you get 150 min but take 3 or 4 even if you log in for only 1. you are forced to get a wifi package or suffer trying to coordinate. daily sheet looks like it has links to sections but does not work. sometimes you can see the menu for restaurants but mostly not. the muster stations are in the app but not when you need them the first day. reservation function would give a time but always fails at the last step.

At its best this app is barely useful. Even onboard it's terrible. The freestyle dailys aren't optimized for a mobile platform. Off the ship its unusable. Needs a complete redesign. Can't view menus, can't book anything, has my excursions and dining listed at wrong times. We used to love ncl, but honestly I'm over it. Cost cutting has caused a once great cruise line to become less then mediocre. The app is exactly like that. When compared to royal and celebrity apps. It's just awful.
