Easy to use and to set up devices and it has some basic automation features. However the app comes with issues. I've had it not sent camera alerts through, despite them coming over my smart speakers. Worst is the notifications. They've bundled all of them together, so the same sound is used for motion alert, firmware ready to install, battery drain. Wich is bad as you want a distinctive sound for motion alert. I don't get the impression they will fix this

Using the app for Tapo C211. Works like a charm- most of the time. Layout & UI is well thought out. At times the camera feed gets stuck as if it's a 5fps footage even when it's running at 25fps. Wifi runs at 100Mbps with a strong signal for devices. Tried switching to 720p and the issue persists. Once the power outage occurs, the camera restarts but the app doesn't connect at all. When it works it works well. Not sure if its camera issue or app issue. And its Day 2 of purchase.

From my experience with other brands and cameras, this Tapo C-120 camera is total garbage! In last few months I had to re-connect my 3 cameras a dozen times! It's totally garbage! Every other week they run into some issues and disconnect from the app and I cannot check my cameras! They are not working for few days to few weeks, then I'm getting tired of it and have to re-set the whole thing from scratch again and again! Total waste of time and money! Just buy some other brand, not this garbage!
