Messages cannot be read, and this "bug" hasn't been fixed for at least 2 years (I've tried on the app, desktop, and phone browser). But the long obligatory ads and tips seem to work just fine 🙃 Do not bother with this app. What a waste of time, and a shame... It had a good sentiment, heartwarming concept and simple use, but for some reason the app never seems to get fixes to the many bugs.

TLDR: Too many ads and using the app is mandatory to read messages. Sad excuse for an app. I cannot read messages from the website and have to use an app due to "high volume". From what I know as a developer, as long as the website itself is loading and the app can retrieve messages, the website can VERY WELL retrieve messages with no problem. Also, WHY are there ads when opening the app, logging in, clicking anything, and THREE ADS TO OPEN YOUR MESSAGES. Either its all that or you have to pay.

The website is wonderful! Having been using it for about two years, I haven't had any issues... until I go to open my messages this year, only to be met by a screen that tells me that I need to download the app to see them. Sure, no biggie. BUT the amount of ads in this app I will use maybe once per year is actually insane. One ad upon logging in, and then an additional three NON-SKIPPABLE, REQUIRED ADS just to read messages... absolutely unthinkable. Not worth the download at all.
