Been using the LG ThinQ app for some time and it really simplifies managing my home appliances. It's especially helpful for monitoring and controlling devices remotely. I mostly use it for my AC and washing machine. The app could improve with more advanced controls for the AC, like adjusting airflow and light settings, similar to the remote. Still, the ability to schedule cleanups and get maintenance reminders is very useful. Overall, it's a smart app made to make daily appliance usage more effi

Installed this app so I can link my LG Oled to Google Home, but every time I try to link the TV to my account, I get the error "Unable to link account to TV. Please try again". Tried reinstalling the app multiple times but the error is always the same. Useless. Edit: Tried all of the suggestions. Even did a complete factory reset on my modem. Still same error.

Ensure Wi-Fi, BT, and GPS are on, once enabled, reboot phone.
TV and phone must use the same router(wired or wireless, not both)
Allow ThinQ app location and nearby device permissions (ThinQ > Permissions > Location > enable precise location and ThinQ > Permissions > Nearby Devices)
TVs with webOS 4.0 or earlier > Enable LG Connect Apps in TV.

I've had this tv and app for about two years, never had much of an issue. Recently got a new phone and logged in to the app to find my device missing. so that's fine, I know how to add it back up. Click add device, tv, then it loads and gives up. I've tried uninstalling app, trying a different phone which has always had the app and worked, and same thing: device is gone. Tried it on there thinking it's just a phone issue, still loaded and gave up. Updated tv, same issue.
