English Crossword puzzle

I've been playing this for so long now. My favourite thing about this app is the fact there are no ads... at least it was until I got one. And it was long and unskippable, for an irrelevant app I've already downloaded and deleted. Turf the ads. You had a good thing here, don't let ads ruin it.

Really great game which can keep you engaged. However, many of the clues require knowledge of either the US customs, culture, or geography; or of Christianity. If you are a non-US, non-Christian user, you will find yourself at a disadvantage. The sync between devices works well, but only works for completed crosswords. Also, if you happen to start the same puzzle on multiple devices, the sync stops for that puzzle.

It's a very good game. Two issues prevent me from giving it full stars: there seems to be no ad-free payment option, and when the video ads are triggered, I have to quickly close the app in order to avoid them. Also, "English" crosswords in this case means UK English, so get ready for puzzles containing lots of UK idioms, place names, historical figures, etc. UPDATE: Thanks so much for pointing me to the ad-free purchase option. My favorite crossword game just got even better!😄
