buying a card from the app - didn't work, had to do it on the web. "QR code as a ticket experience" in Amsterdam is flawed. Readers don't react (somewhat expected), but worse, they can trigger NFC of your phone accidentally. So I paid twice a multiple times. Came to the Iamsterdam point in the central station and asked for the physical card instead. Got rejected by the personnel with no consideration - nothing can be done.

if i could give it zero, I would. app doesn't work anywhere, bus drivers then use that opportunity to scam you further. you then have to pay on top of the city card you already bought. was this app just made to fleece tourists of more money?

qr code is unusable, takes a lot of time to enter and leave public transport and if you have NFC activated the terminal might charge you on top. Worst experience.
