The computer plays for a draw once it starts losing, moving the king around long after it has no hope of winning. This could be a good way to practice endgame chess, however the game doesn't let you undo moves after the match has ended, even in a draw- strange because they let you undo moves during the match. Really wierd decision and honestly makes this super frustrating to play. I'm going to be trying out another chess app that handles end game and higher difficulty better than this one.

It's all great till you accidentally press the back button or the menu button, and your game is gone. It never warns you that you're about to leave the game, and worst of all, it does not save the game state at all (In both single and multiplayer). Outside of that, the graphics look great, and due to its 2D nature, power consumption is very low. The game is solid and I've never seen it crash, but the lack of a save game and how easy it is to get ejected from the game is a frustrating experience

It's a good app in my opinion. It does exactly as it says it does and does it well. I've seen a few reviews about the game being buggy or the CPU cheating, but in the 5 months ive been playing, I havent seen a single thing they are claiming. There are ads like any other free game, but it's only a one image ad at the end of the match.(no 30 second videos or that nonsense) The only reason I'd give this a 4 star, is because the CPU tends to get very wonky when there are only a few pieces left.
