Removed one star since the last update: the addition of stories is less easy to use for the grandparents and inconvenient for everyone else. The way the pictures are shown now crops them unless you click on them, reducing quality. The way you now have to select which mode of transportation you used for different parts of the trip is buggy. It should either allow us to select exactly which part of the trip or go back to the previous edition, because it groups them wrong.

Polarsteps a personal journey with family. Wonderful to follow those you know with a map and photos. You are able to see places that may not be in the travel books but they are beautiful. The freedom to access another's journey is great. Design layout of the app is excellent. Great for family and friends. I will surely recommend it.

Used the app for 6yrs now. Happy with new travel buddy option. Also like the video support. Still miss the option to change routes when gps messed up. However, still haven't bought books as the layout options are under par. Would like more freedom in the photo pages like basically any album you can buy online. More pre-made layouts (that also cater to vertical pics). Also a blank in which one can drop/crop/rotate and place images as one wishes. Also img color filters, tip: pqina.nl/pintura
