About this game

Robot Colony 2 is an RTS about managing a colony of robots and protecting it from giant insects. Strategic selection of the right types of robots to produce is needed for the colony's success.

The robots are autonomous and behave like ants. They search for food and resources and bring them back to the base. The resources they collect can be spent on new units, turrets, and upgrades.

The game is offline and has low system requirements.

Here are some improvements compared to the first part of the game:

The ability to control robots manually.
90 new levels to explore.
New types of insects with unique behaviors.
The ability to select the locations for new turrets and robot factories.
Dozens of new buildings and power-ups.

Great fun! The payment is small and doesn't greatly effect game play (removes ads and allows speeding up time). Gameplay is simple and progressive, with each level having easy, medium, and hard difficulties. A great game to hope in and out of or to play for a while at a time. Simple graphics, easy controls, highly recommend trying!

The game is pretty much unplayable without paying for faster game speed. Robots have a lifetime and die for no reason after a while... (game balance I suppose?). This game balance would be much better accomplished with enemies that deal area damage, target miners/loaders, explode on death, etc. Manually controlling your units to explore is very beneficial, but is very bothersome and awkward on a phone, and I enjoy only on desktop for these kinds of games.

Pretty good so far. Lacks plenty of features that would make it more interesting, like tech/skill trees would be awesome, and a light story could make it better, maybe you're an AI brought online by some circumstances and slowly uncover the tragedy of a now extinct humanity, but for what it is, I enjoy it. It's simple and straightforward, and at least there's no banner ads.
