Really awesome tool for learning. The learning is simple to pick up, and easy to play on the go(though you probably want to use headphones). All the micro transactions are really fairly priced and transparent(though the $4 one is maybe too efficient compared to the others). Also the artists they picked are really something.

The app was great before but the developer has decided to lock literal menu settings behind a pay wall in a recent patch. Stuff like what kinds of questions are shown, whether a review is shown after getting a question wrong, whether to show a text overview of a level before it starts (largely useless and very annoying to click past) are now no longer found in the settings menu and instead locked behind a "Unlock customizations" purchase in the in-app store.

Hi SU44, thank you for your feedback! I decided to remove ads from kawaiiDungeon with the update you mention to create a better experience that is not interrupted by ads. Developing and maintaining an app sadly costs money, and when you enjoy using kawaiiDungeon, I hope you will be able to support it with a small one-time purchase.

A great app for beginners to learn the japanese alphabets and some vocabulary, especially in combination with the main app. It's fun, challenges you and makes you repeat older stuff without it being annoying. The support is great and answers quickly, the community hub is simple and functional and the rankings motivate you to practice regularly. My only points to criticize: It's very repetitive. A bit more gameplay would be nice, as well as writing exercises and more customization for Riko.

Riko takes a break from beating up MardukCorp goons and takes care of some bugs instead! She is sure you will enjoy learning Japanese even more and it will make the experience better for everyone.
