Few things I really didn't like. The app is totally inaccessible without paying. There is no trial or free songs which can lead to regret after buying (I had to request a refund). Next, even if you already know a song it forces you to listen to it and then learn lyrics before you can sing which is a waste of time. Finally, you can't playback recordings so you can listen to how you sound which I thought would have been a really important part of learning digitally.

With the way this app is advertised I expected it to teach way more, and for it to be better at picking up accurate vocal ranges. It kept putting me in Alto or mezzo, when I've been a contralto for a very long time. I also expected it to have way more songs, and to coach you when you're singing other songs. It's not worth the asking prices, and they don't even give you a couple of free songs to try out before requiring you to pay. I cancelled my subscription same day.

Disappointed by this app. I have had a paid subscription for the SimplyPiano app for over a year and absolutely love it so I was happy to sign up to the paid subscription for SimplySing. I signed up for a year only to discover that the "learn" section can be completed in about 15 minutes and then it's essentially just karaoke. Basically it seems like the app is unfinished as it's soooo basic compared to the piano one. It is a fair bit cheaper but still expensive for what it is!
